As if Christmas isn't exciting enough. Around 2:30 the water main broke at Shane's parents house. Water was running down the street. The poor neighbor was out there trying to keep it out of his garage. We were inside trying to get all the kids to go to the bathroom before the water was turned off. (Yeah right.....we all know you can't force a child to go potty) After 9 hours the water was turned back on, toilets flushed and dishes done (We had left hours earlier, but I am assuming that was what Shauna did). If we had access to the city workers blog it would read "The Christmas I spent with the Steens" He was fed Christmas dinner, hot chocolate and had plenty of people to chat with.
